The numbers at the BPD have been fluctuating since while they have been recruiting new cops, the bad ones are being weeded out and dismissed. Belize Police Department Holds First Drum Line The Belize Police Department is hosting its first-ever drum line competition at Berger Field in Belize City. Eight secondary and primary schools are battling it out for first, second, and third place prizes, along with bragging rights. The event is led by the Community Policing Unit, under A.C.P.
